I was never a sweatpants kind of girl. But these jogger pants have completely changed the way I think about sweats! The fabric is nice and thick and the fit is slim so they look more polished than your usual sweatpants. And it’s nice to be able to switch it up from jeans, especially on cold winter mornings when something cozy feels so darn good to wear!

Off the Shoulder Ruffles for Valentine’s Day

More off the shoulder action comin’ atcha for V day! Sorry, I can’t help it. When I think of wearing something romantic, an off the shoulder dress (see last post) or top (also this one) is the clear winner for me. This off the shoulder top comes in a soft blush color with the prettiest ruffled sleeves. It’s about as romantic as you can get! Since the top is dramatic, I kept the rest of the look simple by adding relaxed  jeans, bright pumps and my favorite dangly earrings. Finally, this little raffia satchel is expensive for what it is but it’s so stinking adorable and just the right size for carrying the essentials that I had to snatch it up.

Off the Shoulder Maxi Dress for Valentine’s Day

This off the shoulder maxi dress is so romantic and dreamy! It’s a good one to wear for the upcoming holiday and even better for that fabulous resort vacation that you might be planning for the spring or summer. For a fancy occasion, I would add heels and chandelier earrings and for a stylish vacation, I would add wedges, a straw tote and a big floppy hat. I love that it comes in petite sizes because I am 5’3 and often have to hem the lengths of maxi dresses and skirts. Buying the petite size saves me a trip to the tailor and I can start wearing it right away! Just in time for Valentine’s Day!

Crushing on Statement Earrings for Spring

Shashi Earrings

Spring is around the corner and I’m thinking about off the shoulder tops and cute sandals. Okay, so in LA, we can get away with wearing these year round but in the spring, they’re an absolute must! When I wear off the shoulder, I love to sweep my hair up and wear statement earrings. This accentuates the elegant lines of the neck and collarbone, which I think are very sexy yet underrated body parts. For earrings, I’m in love with colorful tassels, playful palms and big bold circles. And the ultimate statement earrings for spring might be these dreamy yellow flowers!

Funky Balloon Sleeves for Valentine’s Day

If dressing up in heels and a fancy top for Valentine’s day isn’t your thing, I’ve got another idea for you. This balloon sleeve sweater is cozy and stylish in a funky shape! The red is vibrant and looks good with everything, especially this sparkly pink skirt. I bought the skirt for holiday parties (last seen here) and love the idea of re-wearing it in a more casual way. Speaking of casual, it’s the sneakers that bring this look to life. I’ve worn this outfit with classic pumps for a girls night out but I think it looks waaaay cooler with these stylish sneakers!
