Spring Kimono

Zara Kimono and Lace Top (love) | Citizens of Humanity Liya Jeans (save)
Simon Miller Bonsai Bag (mini) | Marc Jacobs Sandals (+sizes, save)
Kenneth Jay Lane Earrings | Ann Taylor Rings | Ray-Ban Sunglasses

I love the look of a long kimono with jeans. It’s dramatic yet casual and makes a stylish light layer for those breezy days we’re having this spring. I added lace for a bit of romance and platform heels for something glamorous. Adding an element of glam to an outfit is easier than you think, even for a casual look. Whether it’s movie star sunglasses, a cocktail ring or sandals in glittering gold, these are the little details that will shine and get noticed.

Mom jeans have been my go-to jeans in recent months. My husband always notices when I wear them. He says, “Mom jeans again huh? Is that what the moms are wearing these days?” I tell him no honey, it’s what the fashion girls are wearing these days!

One Shoulder

Janessa Leone Bolero Hat (similar) | Super Lucia Sunglasses (+colors)

The sun seems to be shining stronger and longer these days so I’m breaking out my favorite hat. For those who have been following for awhile, you’ve seen this hat many, many times (here, here, here). I can’t help myself. I really love this hat so here it is again! This look is a sweet cocktail of all the things I love to wear during springtime. Ruffles and stripesgingham, strappy sandals and yep, my favorite bolero hat.

Boho Glam

Free People Floral Dress (sale) | Simon Miller Bonsai Bag (mini) | Marc Jacobs Lust Sandals (save)
Forever21 Duster Earrings (similar) | Sole Society Bracelet (similar) | Ray-Ban Sunglasses

When I go casual, I am drawn to bohemian pieces like this floral dress. For a lovely yet relaxed look to wear on outings with my family, I add espadrilles and a crossbody bag. But if I want to turn it up a notch, I add sparkly duster earrings and a bitten lip color. I also switch out my practical shoes with glittering gold platform heels. The mood is now bohemian with a touch of glam!

A Spring in Your Step

Brother Vellies Burkina Sandals

How cute are these bow sandals? Just looking at them makes me feel happy. Wearing them gives me an extra spring in my step. :) I’m a big believer in the power of pretty shoes. A pair of fun sandals could be as mood boosting as eating ice cream and petting puppy dogs. Slipping on a pair is an easy way to brighten up your outfits this spring!

Prettiest Florals for Spring

J. Crew One Shoulder Ruffle Top (size down) | ASOS Skirt (size up)
Mansur Gavriel Circle Bag (save) | Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals
Sole Society Bracelet (similar) | Ray-Ban Sunglasses | Forever21 Hoop Earrings (similar)

I’m a sucker for pretty florals and the print and colors on this skirt are a knockout! The thick fabric gives it an interesting shape and the high waistline appears almost like a corset. It’s a beautiful, unique skirt that would be perfect for any dressy occasion this spring. It runs very small so I suggest sizing up 1 or 2 sizes for a more comfortable fit. Lately, my love for ruffles rivals my love for florals. I am not sure which element I love more! I say, combine the two to create the ultimate feminine look. This one shoulder ruffle top is flirty and fun without being too fussy to wear. It’s beautifully made and looks just as good with an amazing pair of jeans.
