Gingham Party

J. Crew Gingham Dress (solid color) and Earrings
Nannacay Maldives Bag | Loeffler Randall Vera Slides (+colors, save)
Ray-Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses

This gingham dress is the ultimate summer party dress! It feels like a gown. But the fabric and print make it possible to wear casually with a straw bag and slide sandals. I added ball drop earrings for a fresh pop of white (my favorite pop of something for the summer). These earrings are a favorite lately! They’re light and comfortable to wear and so cute with just about everything. (Try them with a t-shirt and jeans!)

Zara Dress (in store, similar) and Earrings (in store, similar)
Gucci Dionysus Bag (save) | J. Crew Pumps (love)
ASOS Fishnet Tights | Saint Laurent Sunglasses

It’s officially summer and that means rosé all day, right ladies? The rose colored flowers on this dress are vintage and romantic! I dressed it up with glam accessories like rhinestone earrings, bow embellished heels and a luxe handbag. I also added fishnet tights, which are an inexpensive way to add something edgy and unexpected to a classic look. As a mom, I dress more modestly and gravitate toward classic style. Still, I love experimenting with the latest in fashion and look for edgy accessories to give my outfits a boost.

Wear All White

Pajama Top and Jeans c/o AG (on sale!)
Fendi Bag | Stuart Weitzman Pumps (similar)
Baublebar Evelyn Earrings | Ray-Ban Sunglasses | Amulette de Cartier Necklace

Summer is a great time to break out your whites. And nothing is as fresh and summery as an all white look! Finding a great pair of white jeans is a challenge for me. I adore the look of white jeans but don’t love that they can highlight all my flaws (especially the skinny fit). This retro fit pair from AG is my go-to for summer. High-waisted straight legs with just enough distressing to keep things interesting. The uneven hems are icing on the cake! Importantly, they are stretchy and comfortable and not at all see-through. A pajama top brings a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe to this look. This one doesn’t look slouchy at all thanks to the trim fit and the black piping really makes it stand out.

Both the jeans and pajama top are included in AG’s semi-annual sale that starts today. Until the 23rd, select items are up to 30% off and starting on the 24th, these items will be up to 40% off. If you’re looking to stock up on quality staples, there are so many goodies on sale, including my favorite striped tee (worn here). Also loving the stripes on this bell sleeve tee and sexy silk tank. More staples on my wish list include a red hot muscle tee, shorts in a cool wash, sophisticated tie neck sweater and a really unique denim jacket.

One thing that I love about the jeans by AG is that you can bet the quality is spot on. They are always comfortable, wash well and look like designer clothing. If I’m going to splurge, however, I look for unique details like an incredible wash, perfect distressing, sexy leatherette, belted, faded grays and cropped wide legs with the coolest hems.

I partnered with AG to bring you this post. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog!

Fit For a Lady

Scarf Dress by Freidy c/o
Alexander Wang Mini Roxy Bag (similar) | Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals
Banana Republic Necklace (similar) | Majorica Pearl Necklace | Chanel Brooch (save)

When I started blogging, it wasn’t easy to make friends with the gals who’ve been doing it for awhile. Freidy was one of the nicest gals and I admired her bold and beautiful style so much! Now, she’s a boss lady with her own clothing line and I’m so happy to wear her first design. This black dress may be modest in length but it is cut for curves! Believe me, I’m not the curviest gal but the dress succeeds in making the most of the few curves that I do have. The attached scarves are an elegant accessory that can be styled in so many ways. I pinned the scarves to my shoulders to create a dramatic cape-like effect that looks lovely when I move around. For the finishing touch, I piled on crystals and pearls to add some sparkle to this classic look.

Proud of ya Freidy! I can’t wait to see your collection grow!

Flowers and Flares

Zara Top and Jeans
J. Crew Circle Crossbody Bag | Steve Madden Carrson Sandals
J. Crew Earrings | Ray-Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses

We’ve been having some June gloom in LA but I’m dressing like it’s summer already. I’ve been finding the prettiest floral prints at Zara lately including this sweet t-shirt (another outfit here). Dainty flowers on a yummy peach and yellow background with feminine flutter sleeves for under $30? Done deal! The shirt is loose so I like to tuck it into high waisted skirts or knot it at the waist for a more shapely look.

Okay, these fabulous flares again. Believe me, they will get you noticed and for less than $70, they’re a fashion find! If you’ve been itching to be more daring with your style, they’re a good way to start (also love these). Life is too short to wear boring clothes babes. ;)
