I get stopped all the time about this bag! I might say this about every new handbag but I honestly feel that this Moreau bucket bag by Staud is very special. These two factors make this bag outstanding – design and quality.

The design is so unique. It is made of two distinct pieces. Netted rope with handles and a leather bucket that slips into the netting. From the bucket shape to the intricate netting to the curved handles, it is a work of art! And the construction of the bag is just as amazing. The bucket and handles are made of gorgeous thick leather and the netting is made from sturdy rope tied into perfect little knots.

All for under $500! People are shocked when I tell them the price is $375. :) Note, there aren’t any compartments but the bag is very roomy (easily fits all my essentials) and it doesn’t lose its shape. One think I don’t love about my Simon Miller Bonsai bag is that, though it is beautiful, it collapses when I’m not holding it (boo). Not the case for this beauty.

This bag has a modern, almost masculine vibe but I love wearing it with feminine clothing like this floral top. Lately, I am investing in some pretty tops that look great with both jeans and fancy pants. Loving the selection from Amanda Uprichard! Tops (and dresses) are sophisticated with just the right amount of sexy. Quality is spot on and the price point agrees with my wallet. I’m featuring a few of my favorite tops below.

Happy Friday everyone! I am so proud of my amazing husband tackling the Malibu Triathlon this Sunday. Go get ’em hunny!
